Le Parc de la Grève campsite is ideal for families wishing to combine fishing and "farniente" in the pool area.
Fishing by the campground
Fishing activities can be done directly by the campground, free of charges in our private pond. you will find carp, roach even eel. But you can also practice fishing in the ponds, lakes, and rivers around, either directly if you hold a fishing card, or through the reception and buy a card. (day discovery card is valid on all the rivers of Vendee, and is displayed at the price of 6 € in 2020).
Of course, what is also interesting when you are near the Vendee coast (Le Parc de la Grève campsite is 7 km from the sea) is sea fishing. Surf Casting is easily practicable on the beaches between Bretignolles sur mer and Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, but you can also easily fish ouside the harbor directly at Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, or on the pier (check for allowance). Of course, other sea fishing activities are proposed, so do not hesitate to inquire with Virginie at the reception.
Finally, spots for many fishing parties from the shore are nearby, especially at Sauzaie (municipality of Brétignolles sur mer), Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, or even going up towards Noirmoutier and its famous passage du Gois.

The swimming pool at the campsite
While some are fishing, others are at the pool. The swimming pool at le Parc de la Grève campsite is heated to 27 °C (a temperature which can still vary anyway, depending on weather conditions). The swimming pool is equipped with a paddling pool but also with a water slide. Younger guests can also take advantage of the inflatable castle located in the immediate vicinity of the paddling pool. For the idleness side, you will have the choice of the seat: Chilean, deckchair or large ottoman! There is something for all tastes and all moods.

Renting a mobile home, the best choice
For those who wish to spend a holiday at the campsite Le Parc de la Greve in Vendee, taking advantage of the fishing and the swimming pool, we have equipped some of our mobile homes with a small annex, allowing to store maggots in the cool, fishing rods, as well as live fish if needed. These mobile homes are in our classic range, under the pretty name of "amour blanc" (white love).
